Burna Boy made history on Sunday as he performed during the inaugural FIFA World Cup final half-time show, sharing the stage with Colombian pop icon Shakira
The Nigerian singer thrilled fans with a performance of their collaboration, Dai Dai, during the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain at the New York New Jersey Stadium.

The appearance marked Burna Boy’s first-ever performance at a FIFA World Cup final, further cementing Nigeria’s presence on one of the world’s biggest sporting stages.
The crowd erupted in cheers as Shakira welcomed him on stage before the pair delivered their hit song.
The 11-minute half-time show featured a star-studded lineup of international performers.
Madonna kicked off the entertainment with Music, arriving in a buggy driven by Brazilian football greats Ronaldo Nazário and Ronaldinho.
BTS member J-Hope followed with a performance of Dynamite, while Justin Bieber entertained fans with a special World Cup rendition of Everything Hallelujah after an introduction by Ted Lasso actors Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt.

Shakira went back for the grand finale, joined by a children’s choir from Staten Island, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy to perform We Believe in Love.
The star-studded show lit up the stadium after an intense first half between Argentina and Spain and followed a colourful pre-match ceremony featuring Robbie Williams, Post Malone and popular streamer IShowSpeed.
