Ahead of the American presidential campaign, Elon Musk and Cardi B engaged in a heated conversation on social media
An X user posted a video of Cardi B struggling on Kamala Harris campaign stage due to a broken teleprompter, which they described as “Holy embarrassing.”
Elon Musk quoted this video and criticized her, saying she was a puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words, while also questioning the authenticity of the Kamala Harris campaign.
“Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy.”, he said.
In response, Cardi B defended herself by stating that she is not a puppet but rather a daughter of two immigrant parents who worked hard to support her.
She mentioned her background, explaining that she is a product of welfare, Section 8 housing, and poverty, emphasizing that Musk doesn’t understand the struggles faced by many Americans. She ended her response with a light-hearted request for him to “fix my algorithm.”
