Controversial singer Charly Boy has stirred up controversy by promising to divorce his wife of 47 years if United States Vice President Kamala Harris does not win the upcoming presidential election.
Charly Boy, known for his unconventional statements, expressed his deep admiration for Harris, referring to her as his “crush” and emphasizing that America should follow its first Black Male President, Barack Obama, with its first Black Female President.
The musician took to social media to make his vow, writing in Pidgin English, “If my crush Kamala Harris no win di USA presidential election, I swear, I go divorce my wife of 47 years. After the first Black Male President, America deserves the first Black Female President. Sorry rednecks. Dats how we Roll.”
