A cleaner, Faiza Abdulkadir, who returned N4.8 million credited to her bank account by mistake has got a N2.5 million gift from a “good Samaritan”

The president of Da’awah Wal Irshaad Women Organisation, Borno State, Aisha Muhammad Aisami, presented the N2.5 million cheque to her in Maiduguri, on Monday.

She said the donor, who preferred not to be mentioned reached out to the organization to find the woman and reward her.

“We, therefore, present this cheque of N2.5 million to Faiza Abdulkadir, on behalf of our donor, who saw what she did, when somebody mistakenly sent N4.8 million into her account and returned the money.”

Responding, Faiza thanked the donor and the Da’awa organization that facilitated the donation, while calling on people to fear God and stick to the boundaries.

Fauza is working at University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, and survives on N30,000 salary, taking the responsibility of her five children and aged mother.

Earlier, Borno State first Lady, Dr Falmata Babagana Zulum, presented Faiza a cash gift of N1millon, with food items and vocational skills equipment from the state government.

Also, the state Commissioner of Women Affairs, Zuwaira Gambo, described her action as very rare considering her financial challenges. process before she finally sent the money to the owner.
