Nigerian comedian MC Mbakara stressed the value of men washing their wives’ underwear by sharing a video of himself doing it.
He urged men to help their partners and think about ways to be more romantic. The comedian also advised men to buy underwear for their wives that they like, pointing out that some women wear traditional “buba” clothing as underwear.
“Husbands, listen to me. When was the last time you washed your wife’s underwear or clothes? Some of you don’t know how to be romantic or make a woman feel good. What’s the big deal? It’s just underwear. You don’t have to do it all the time. Just pick a few of her clothes and underwear and wash them. Make her feel good. Go and buy your wife the kind of underwear you like because some women wear buba as underwear.”
