Connie Nielsen, 59, amazed fans at the ‘Gladiator II‘ premiere on Wednesday night, looking as youthful as ever.
She first played Lucilla in the original ‘Gladiator‘ film in 2000 and has now returned to the franchise, joined by new cast members Paul Mescal and Yuval Gonen.
On the red carpet, Connie wore a stunning baby blue pleated chiffon gown with a semi-sheer skirt and a thigh-high slit.
She paired the halterneck dress with matching satin heels and styled her hair in loose waves.
The sequel, ‘Gladiator II‘, is set decades after the first film and follows Lucius, Lucilla’s son, who now lives in Numidia, a region in northern Africa.
Connie is one of only two actors returning from the original cast, alongside Derek Jacobi, who reprises his role as Gracchus.
