Court fixes June 9 to rule on Blessing CEO’s bail application

The Federal High Court in Lagos has fixed June 9, 2026, to rule on the bail application filed by social media personality and relationship therapist, Blessing CEO

Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the court’s Ikoyi division adjourned the matter after hearing arguments on the application on Friday.

According to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Blessing CEO is currently facing prosecution over allegations of fraud involving ₦36 million.

The anti-graft agency stated that the defendant is being tried on a two-count charge bordering on alleged obtaining by false pretence and stealing.

In a statement issued on Friday, the EFCC confirmed that the court would deliver its decision on the bail request on June 9 while proceedings in the case continue.

“Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, June 5, 2026, reserved ruling until June 9, 2026, on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO,” the statement read.

It added, “Blessing is standing trial on a two-count charge filed by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC, bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing to the tune of N36 million.”
