Music star Davido has taken a swipe at rapper Erigga after he tweeted about musicians who did not come from wealthy families and had to work for everything they earned.
Erigga wrote:
“Shoutout to all the musicians who don’t come from family money and had to grind for every single dollar they earn.”
Davido responded directly, pointing out that coming from a well-off family does not automatically mean an artiste cannot work hard to build a successful career.
He replied:

Shoutout to the ones that came from family money and still grind to the top
Comot here with that your useless motivation imbecile”.
For Davido, people who had financial support growing up still need to put in the work before they can earn their place in the music industry.
