Music star Davido has once again shown his generosity, gifting a fan N5 million in a surprising twist during a social media drama involving a Wizkid supporter
It all started when a female fan of Wizkid—known online for her constant criticism of Davido, even going as far as mocking his late son, Ifeanyi—took to social media to ask Nigerians for help regarding her sister’s health condition. The plea quickly caught attention, but not for the reasons she hoped.
Davido’s fans wasted no time digging up her old tweets, many of which were laced with hate toward Davido and his family. As the posts resurfaced, Davido himself chimed in with a cryptic tweet that many interpreted as a direct shot at her.
“You see your life 😂,” Davido tweeted, without mentioning any names.
He followed up by retweeting a post from 2024 which read, “Anybody wey do me bad go collect this year one by one just Dey watch … e don start already 😂.”
As the drama unfolded, a loyal 30BG fan joined the trend by posting the song “HYPOCRITE,” clearly aimed at the situation. Davido noticed and responded directly to the fan with a surprise message:
“Send ur account 5 m for new hair.”
Shortly after, Davido shared a screenshot of the payment receipt, confirming he had sent ₦5 million to the fan. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she quickly took to her timeline to thank him:
