Davido has reacted to speculation surrounding his performance fee at a recent royal wedding in India
Reports had emerged that Davido received a staggering $10 million (N18 billion) for his performance at the wedding of Indian media personality Alkesh Thavrani and his partner, Sheetal Mazda, in Udaipur, India.
In a playful Instagram story, Davido hinted that the reported fee might be exaggerated.
Addressing the groom, Davido jokingly asked, “@AlkeshThavrani, wer my bal?” implying that he may not have received the full amount being speculated online.
Confirming that he had received his performance fees, Davido refrained from disclosing the exact amount.
He also humorously expressed his desire for an Indian passport after his memorable experience in the country.
