Former British boxer Ryan Taylor, who was once engaged to DJ and billionaire heiress DJ Cuppy, has shared surprising insights about their past relationship during a recent Ladders podcast appearance
Taylor claimed that Cuppy was hesitant about people from her own country and discouraged him from hiring Nigerians in his business.
“Would it be odd if I told you she didn’t like people from her country? She would come into my business and didn’t want me employing her fellow country people. When we walked in the mall, people would run from their counters asking for money,” he revealed.
The couple, engaged in November 2022 and reportedly splitting in mid-2023, were known for their public displays of affection and luxurious lifestyle. Their breakup sparked fan speculation after they unfollowed each other on social media and stopped posting together.
Reflecting on the relationship, Taylor noted, “Everything happens for a reason. The time that I met her, where we both were at the time, it had to happen. No regrets, lesson learnt.”
