Actress Bamike “Bambam” Adenibuyan has encouraged couples to postpone physical intimacy until they are certain about marriage
Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, Bambam said this approach helps create a stronger foundation for a lasting relationship.
She advised, “I would advise anybody dating, if you can keep s*x out of the mix till you’re sure of getting married, just do it.”
Reflecting on her marriage to Big Brother Naija star Tope “Teddy A” Adenibuyan, Bambam admitted they initially faced doubts about their compatibility. “I began to evolve as a woman, and he too was discovering himself. Our differences started to clash, and there were many times we questioned why we were together. We felt like the foundation wasn’t right. But I held on to God and His promises for my marriage,” she said.
The mother of two highlighted the importance of personal growth and Teddy A’s spiritual connection, describing it as a key element in their relationship. “My greatest joy through the journey has been him having a personal relationship with God. That has been the sweetener,” she added.
Bambam also revealed that her acting style prioritises authenticity, often portraying relationships convincingly without including kissing scenes.
