Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has weighed in on the simmering tension between Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, urging fans not to rush to judgment
In a video shared on Instagram, Bobrisky reminded the public that celebrity disputes are rarely what they seem on the surface.
“I know many of you are fans, and everyone has their favourites. But when you see one of your favourites having issues with another, don’t rush to support one side. Stay neutral you don’t know what really happened behind the scenes,” he said.
Bobrisky also shared his personal view of relationships in the entertainment industry, which he described as largely insincere.
“That industry? I don’t have friends there. I may have a few sisters, like Mercy Aigbe and Omoborty, but you will never see me going to their parties or events like that, because the industry is too fake,” he added.
The drama erupted after a clip from Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere went viral, showing Funke Akindele seemingly ignoring Toyin Abraham’s greeting.
Funke was seated with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin approached, but Akindele’s lack of acknowledgment left many viewers shocked as Toyin walked away looking uncomfortable.
In response, Toyin Abraham openly shared her frustration, announcing that she would no longer greet Akindele and revealing that she had unfollowed her colleague on social media.
