The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Victor Edoror and his Deputy were today impeached by 15 lawmakers of the 24-member House. The two principal officers were impeached over allegations of incompetence and high-handedness.
Mrs Elizabeth Ative was immediately elected as the new Speaker. So much drama going on lately in Edo.
