Actress, Ekene Umenwa has sparked controversy online after sharing a video dedicating her baby to Mother Mary
Ekene, who welcomed her first child in the US, fulfilled her promise to her mother by taking her baby to be blessed by Mother Mary before introducing them to the child’s father’s family.
In a social media post, Ekene expressed gratitude to God and praised Mother Mary, referring to her as her “power woman” and “mirror of justice.”
She also thanked various reverend fathers, including her father, for their support.
The post drew criticism from some online users, who accused Ekene of idol worshipping. However, others defended her right to express her faith.
