There’s fresh buzz surrounding Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin who is now married to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and this time, it’s about a subtle but pointed Easter message.
Taking to Facebook, Obasi shared an old photo from when he and Judy were still together. Alongside the throwback, he dropped a cryptic message that many believe was aimed directly at her.
“Yuliana Iscariot and JuJu Iscariot thought that after the Reggae they play the Blues na lie, Bro. J. start with prayer and end up with prayer
They start with Reggae, we go end am with Reggae, Blues dey Ur dey for now
I learn from Bro. J. Our Saviour, happy Easter everyone #fypシ”.
While he didn’t mention names outright, the tone and timing coming during Easter celebrations have sparked reactions online, with many interpreting it as shade.
Obasi and Judy Austin were previously married before their relationship ended under controversial circumstances. Their split became a hot topic when Judy later got involved with Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, eventually becoming his second wife.
The situation stirred major conversations on social media, especially because Yul was already married to his first wife, and many fans weighed in on the unfolding drama.
Since then, Obasi has occasionally made statements online that people read as indirect responses to the situation and this latest post seems to follow that pattern.
