England secured a spot in the Euro 2024 quarterfinals after a thrilling 2-1 extra-time victory over Slovakia
Despite falling behind in the 25th minute when Ivan Schranz scored, England’s fate was sealed until Jude Bellingham’s remarkable equalizer in stoppage time forced extra time.
Captain Harry Kane scored early in extra time, and England managed to hold on for the win despite some tense moments.
England will now face Switzerland in the quarterfinals on Saturday, and if they advance, they will play in the semifinals on July 10.
