Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has publicly outlined the types of film roles he will not accept, citing personal values and religious convictions as guiding factors in his decisions.
The actor made the remarks during a recent interview on a podcast hosted by Biola Bayo, where he spoke at length about boundaries he has set for his career despite the demands of the industry.
In a direct and unfiltered statement, Chatta said:
“l love w0m£n so much that l can’t acct the r0l£ of Sam££ s£x that l will n0w be holding a man like me or sleeping on the same b£d with a man like me,
God f0b1dd it, I can’t act as a g@yy in any movie oo, l normally envy my colleagues that they behave like woman at times, l can’t
He explained that portraying same-sex relationships or engaging in roles that require him to perform religious acts contrary to his faith are decisions he cannot reconcile with his beliefs.
Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta further reiterated that his personal beliefs and faith set clear limits on the roles he is willing to take, stressing that these decisions are final regardless of financial incentives.
“With due respect to LGBTT, l can’t acct it and secondly, l can never bow to any other God even when l am acting as a babalawo my fore head must not touch ground except for my God
That’s. The only two roles l will never act even if they give me 2 Billion dollars l will never act it at these stage of my life”
Chatta emphasized that his stance is not influenced by financial incentives, noting that even a multi-billion-dollar offer would not change his position at this stage of his life.
