The Football Association has reportedly handed Chelsea forward Mykhailo Mudryk a four-year ban, according to journalist and transfer expert Ben Jacobs
Mudryk has been unavailable to Chelsea FC since December 2024, when he was provisionally suspended after testing positive for a banned substance. The club later reassigned his number 10 shirt to Cole Palmer in June 2025.

He was subsequently charged for breaching anti-doping regulations and has not featured for the club since. The latest development indicates that a four-year suspension has now been issued.
However, the case has since been escalated to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after Mudryk filed an appeal in February 2026. Both sides have already submitted written arguments, although a hearing date is yet to be fixed.
The outcome of the appeal remains uncertain, while Chelsea could also consider terminating his contract by mutual agreement.
Mudryk joined Chelsea from FC Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023, signing an eight-and-a-half-year deal in a transfer initially worth £62 million, with potential add-ons pushing it to £89 million.
