The images, shared on X by the FBI’s Salt Lake City field office on Thursday, show the individual wearing a cap, dark sunglasses, a long-sleeved shirt, and jeans. The caption read: “We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.”

In a separate post, the FBI confirmed the reward: “The FBI is offering up to $100,000 for information that can lead to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.” The agency also requested anyone with photos or videos related to the incident to come forward.

The FBI stated, “We are doing everything we can to find him, and we’re not sure how far he has gone yet, but we will do our best.”

Kirk, a close ally of President Donald Trump, was shot d3ad on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University, sparking concerns about potential political violence in the United States. The 31-year-old activist, who co-founded the country’s largest conservative youth movement in 2012, was speaking under a tent to a large audience when the shooting occurred.

Former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz, who attended the event, told Fox News that Kirk was answering a question about “transgender shooters, mass shooters, and in the midst of that, the shot rang out.” The event was the first of approximately 15 scheduled across the country through the end of October.
