Nigeria’s powerlifting star, Folashade Oluwafemiayo, has once again made history, shattering her own world record in the women’s 86kg category at the World Powerlifting Championships held in Cairo, Egypt
The 38-year-old champion lifted an incredible 168kg — one kilogram more than her previous world record of 167kg — to clinch the gold medal and reaffirm her dominance in global powerlifting.
Oluwafemiayo’s record-breaking feat marks her fourth World Championship title, adding to an already glittering career that includes two Paralympic gold medals.
