Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has filed a defamation lawsuit against Stanley Ontop, a Nigerian filmmaker, actor, and social media personality.
Frederick shares the news on Instagram along with a copy of the lawsuit notice.
In his post, Leonard wrote:
“MR. STANLEY CHIBUEZE AJEMBA A.K.A. STANLEY ON TOP… YOU HAVE BEEN SERVED! THE LAW WILL TAKE ITS COURSE TO THE FULL EXTENT. YOU FIRST, OTHERS WILL FOLLOW… IF YOU CLAIM OR ALLEGE, YOU MUST PROVE WITH EVIDENCE, I’M COMING FOR YOU.”
The suit claims Ontop’s remarks have damaged Leonard’s reputation and career, causing lost work and income. The feud now moves from social media into the courtroom.
