Lawanda Lane, a longtime confidante of Kim Porter, is refuting claims that the late model and girlfriend of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs attempted to write a book.
Lane told TMZ that there is no evidence to support the assertion that Porter, who passed away at 47 in Los Angeles on November 15, 2018, ever sought to create a manuscript, a claim made by Courtney Burgess, a witness in Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial.

Lane emphasized her close relationship with Porter, highlighting their 30-year friendship, 20 years of living together, and her role as a caretaker for Porter and Diddy’s twin daughters.
She stated that she spent time with Porter every day and that the model “never wrote anything down.”
In her conversation with the outlet, Lane mentioned that she was responsible for organizing and redistributing Porter’s belongings after her death and did not discover any manuscript among the items left behind by her dear friend.
