Actress, Funmi Awelewa has fired back at influencer Mandy Kiss after saying she allegedly ruined her life and set back her career, following advice she gave her to stop what she described as a “wayward life,” alongside Toyin Abraham
The drama began after Mandy Kiss called out both actresses online, but Funmi Awelewa has now responded, insisting she only advised her to stop using God’s name in vulgar language and that her words were taken out of context.
She said the situation was never about destruction but correction, adding that Mandy went too far.
Awelewa further challenged Mandy Kiss to speak openly about what she allegedly did wrong, stating that she had supported her at different points, including connecting her to endorsement opportunities with brands such as De’millionaire and Toplady’s Hair.
She also alleged that she had once advised Mandy Kiss over personal habits she discovered privately, saying her intention was always to help her improve.
The actress maintained that she has been through her own struggles, including depression and financial hardship, and would never intentionally wish harm on anyone.
She concluded by urging Mandy Kiss to move on, seek forgiveness, and focus on personal growth, insisting she had done nothing to deserve the accusations and would no longer engage in the matter.
In her Instagram statement, Awelewa wrote:
“No one is responsible for anyone’s setback or failure. Life is full of challenges and you have to stay stronger to overcome them. I blocked you without giving closure cuz I don’t wanna have anything to do with you again after several advices.”

“Why can’t you tell the world about the endorsement deals I gave you the link. I mean De’millionaire & Toplady’s hair brands.”
“Why can’t you tell the world how I get to know about your sm*king habit after you hide it for me.”
“I never did anything to you to deserve all this tbh… I will choose myself over anybody in this sinful world.”
“I repeat, I will like to know what I did wrong. I rest my case on this matter! Irè.”
