Gospel singers, Yinka Alaseyori, Olabest, Alayo Melody, Lare Alewilese, and several others have appealed to the public for financial assistance on behalf of their colleague, Bunmi Akinnaanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi.
The calls for help come weeks after Omije Ojumi visited G.F David Ministries in Ibadan, Oyo State, seeking healing. The singer is reportedly struggling with a leg ailment that has left her financially drained.

Lanre Alewilese, in a video shared on his Instagram page, urged the public to assist urgently, saying, “She really needs your support NOW!” He shared her account details and called on artists from all musical genres to rally around her.
“God, in your mercy, please heal her. I’m calling on both young and old, my brothers and sisters in the gospel industry, including Juju and Fuji musicians—let’s put religion aside and save the life of sister Bunmi Akinanu, Omije Ojumi,” Alewilese pleaded.
He added, “I have sent direct messages to some singers, but there’s still a need to cry out so people know what is going on. When my colleague, Alayo, called me yesterday about her condition, I was shocked. I thought God had taken control of her healing, but I didn’t know she was being moved from one hospital to another.”
Other entertainers, including Yinka Alaseyori, Olabest, Alayo Melody, Akinade Olubukola, and actress Foluke Daramola, also joined the campaign, using their social media platforms to solicit support for the singer.
While the exact nature of her medical condition remains undisclosed, the appeal has stirred widespread concern and sympathy among fans and the public.
