Gospel singer Busola Oke, popularly known as Eleyele, has broken down in tears while opening up about the struggles in her music career
In an emotional message, Eleyele lamented the lack of recognition for quality music today, expressing frustration over the challenges she faces as a gospel artist.

Her emotional moment came in the wake of the passing of fellow gospel singer Bunmi Omije Ojumi.
Speaking candidly, she highlighted the harsh realities of life, questioning how people are expected to survive without basic necessities. “Good music doesn’t sell anymore. How can someone eat when there’s no food? How can you drive when there’s no car? How can you be at peace when there’s no peace? How can you feel less alone when you’re all by yourself?” she said, visibly tearful.
Eleyele also shared feelings of abandonment, noting that many who once surrounded her have vanished during her difficult times. “When things were going well, so many people were around. But now that there’s nothing, you don’t see anyone anymore — no colleagues, no friends, no family… nobody,” she added.
Her outcry has Nigerians expressing their sympathy and calling for support.
