Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has honored Mrs. Marbel Ijeoma Duaka, a long serving dedicated nurse from Anambra State, with a fully furnished two-bedroom house
Mrs. Duaka has served at the Mafa Primary Healthcare Centre for over 24 years, showing remarkable resilience and commitment, especially during the peak of the Boko Haram insurgency.

Governor Zulum praised Mrs. Duaka’s loyalty and compassion, noting that she remained in Mafa, providing healthcare services to locals, even when many residents fled.

He also revealed that Mrs. Duaka has treated his family members, including his mother.

As a further gesture of appreciation, Governor Zulum offered automatic employment to Mrs. Duaka’s son, Anthony, a Banking and Finance graduate from Kashim Ibrahim University, Maiduguri, acknowledging the family’s contributions to the state.
