Armed robbers have broken into the female hostel of the Numan Campus of Adamawa State Polytechnic and taken 15 phones from the students
The robbers, armed with guns and cutlasses, invaded the hostel in the early hours of Wednesday, May 27.
Witnesses said while some students who resisted the robbers got injured, one particularly traumatised student fainted.
The helpless students, still feeling the pain of their experience, have accused the school authorities of negligence that left them at the mercy of the robbers.
The Information Officer of the polytechnic, Mr Albert Matila, confirmed the Numan Campus incident.
Matila assured that the rector of the polytechnic will lead other management staff to the affected students and evaluate their situation.
