Mr. Tope Kutiyi, a journalist with Channels Television has been kidnapped. He was kidnapped this morning by unknown gunmen men at his residence in the Federal Housing Estate, Umuguma in Imo State.
The hoodlums were said to have scaled through the fence of his residence and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
Meanwhile, the Governor of the State, Rochas Okorocha has described the abduction of a Channels Television correspondent, Tope Kutiyi, early on Monday as an attempt to blackmail the state government which according to him has been highly commended in recent times for doing well to reduce the crime rate across the state.
