Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has celebrated being recognised as a Guinness World Records Icon
The recognition is reserved for individuals whose achievements and influence have left a lasting impact and inspired people around the world.
Sharing an emotional message on social media, Hilda admitted she initially struggled to talk about the recognition because she feared being defined by a single achievement.
The chef said she delayed opening the package and filming a video about it before eventually deciding to embrace the moment.
“I’ll be honest.
When I received this recognition as a Guinness World Records Icon, I wasn’t sure how to share it.
Not because I wasn’t grateful. Far from it.
But over the past few years, I’ve sometimes wrestled with the fear of being defined by a single moment. The fear that mentioning Guinness World Records again would make people think, ‘Isn’t she talking about this again?'”
“So I sat with it.
I delayed unboxing it. I delayed filming this video. I delayed finding the words.
But gratitude has a way of overcoming fear.”
Hilda explained that the honour means far more to her than the title itself, saying it represents years of hard work, growth and the people who stood by her.
She went on to thank God, her mother, family, team, friends and supporters for helping her achieve the milestone.
Clarifying the recognition, Hilda noted that it is not a new world record but a special honour bestowed on individuals whose accomplishments have had a lasting global impac t.
“The truth is that this recognition means a lot to me. Not because of the title itself, but because of everything it represents the journey, the sacrifices, the lessons, the growth, and the countless people who made it possible.”
