Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has uploaded the emotional moment she received a call from Guinness World Records officially confirming her as the record holder for the Largest Serving of Nigerian-Style Jollof Rice
Hilda, who hails from Akwa Ibom, made history by cooking an enormous pot of jollof rice during a highly celebrated event held on Friday in Victoria Island, Lagos, drawing a massive crowd of excited Nigerians.
Guinness World Records validated her achievement on Monday, September 15, announcing that her jollof rice weighed an incredible 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz), earning her the prestigious title.
In a video shared online, Hilda captured the emotional phone call where officials delivered the news. She, along with her mother, team, and friends, could be seen shedding tears of joy and gratitude as they celebrated yet another world record milestone.
