Hulk Hogan is not on his de.athbed, despite internet rumors that sent fans into a frenzy this week
The WWE icon’s rep confirmed that while the 71-year-old was recently hospitalized, there’s “no reason to panic.”
Speculation began when YouTuber Bubba the Love Sponge claimed during a livestream that Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, was seriously ill and might not make it.
The claim quickly went viral, prompting concern and confusion among wrestling fans and pop culture watchers alike.
But according to Hogan’s rep, the wrestler had a routine neck surgery that was successful, and his current condition is stable. “He’s had problems with his back for years,” the rep told E! News, “but there’s no emergency.”
