Grammy-winning artist, Burna Boy, has shared a shocking glimpse into what his life might have looked like if he hadn’t pursued music
In a conversation with a fan, Burna Boy revealed that without his singing career, he could have ended up as a s#icide bomber, an oil thief, a fraudster, a basketball player, or even a prostitute.
“When asked what I would have been doing if I hadn’t become a singer, I said, ‘There are many options. I could be stealing oil, playing basketball, committing fraud, a suicide bomber, anything, even a prostitute,’” he stated.
Burna Boy has cemented his place in music history as Africa’s artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. He also made history as the first African artist to debut a song on the Billboard Hot 100 in five consecutive years, from 2021 to 2025.
