King Mitchy has reacted to the backlash trailing a leaked WhatsApp exchange between her and the Ooni of Ife
The controversy comes amid her ongoing clash with VeryDarkMan over school renovation claims. Mitchy had called out the activist, insisting she completed the renovation of a school within six days and daring him to hand her N50 million to refurbish four more.
As the online feud intensified, the influencer alleged that her business Instagram page was taken down. She further claimed that VeryDarkMan questioned the source of funds used to launch her store and accused her of behaving inappropriately, including an allegation that she was licking a lollipop.
In an apparent move to defend her reputation, Mitchy shared a screenshot of a conversation with the Ooni of Ife, where the monarch commended her efforts.
Taking to her Instagram story, she revealed that the traditional ruler had personally reached out and advised critics to stop attacking her. Mitchy expressed surprise at the monarch’s influence, admitting she had no prior knowledge of how significant he was before now.
