Afrobeats artist Ayra Starr has opened up about how her busy schedule is affecting her appearance, despite being born in 2002.
Speaking in an interview with Rode in Nairobi, Kenya, the singer shared that she sometimes feels “old” compared to others her age.
“I have met people who were born in the 90s, and they’re so vibrant and so young. I’m old, and I was just born in 2002,” she said, expressing her frustration with the toll her career has taken on her.
Starr also admitted she craves more rest, saying, “I want to stay home, I want to sleep.”
On her creative process, she explained, “The more I make music, the more I recognise what my path is and what I’m trying to do.”
