The father of late singer Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, is once again speaking out this time calling for stronger court action to ensure a DNA test is carried out on his grandson, Liam.
In a recent interview, Aloba didn’t hide his frustration. He said the process has been slower than he expected and believes the court should do more than simply encourage cooperation between parties. Instead, he wants clear enforcement.
“There is nothing like that, even the magistrate court said I should go and rub minds with Mohbad’s girlfriend, that she should allow me. By hearing that, at least I was expecting them to compel her to submit that child because we are looking for the truth, nothing but the truth,” he said.
For Mohbad’s dad, the issue is straightforward he says he just wants certainty about whether the child is biologically related to his late son. Emotions, he insists, shouldn’t stand in the way.
“I am pleading to the whole world, I just want to be sure of my grandson’s paternity, whether or not he belongs to me,” he added
