I would have been a teacher if music hadn’t worked out – Tems

Tems has revealed that she would have pursued a career in mathematics or accounting if music hadn’t worked out

During an interactive session with her fans on X, she expressed her fondness for figures, saying she might have been an accountant or a mathematics teacher.

Tems had previously left her job as a digital marketer in January 2018 to focus on her music career. When a fan asked what she would be doing today if music hadn’t worked out, she responded with her alternative career paths.

She wrote: “I might have been an accountant or a mathematics teacher.”

Tems has since achieved great success, releasing her debut single ‘Mr Rebel’ in July 2018 and featuring in Wizkid’s hit single ‘Essence’, which peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
