BBNaija star and DJ, Tolanibaj, has opened up on how she would respond if a partner cheats on her, during an appearance on a podcast.
Speaking on the show, she made it clear that she does not believe in forgiveness when it comes to infidelity, insisting she would simply mirror the action.
“If you cheat on me, no matter how much I love you, I will cheat on you back on God. I promise you, I will not go through your phone. Maybe at the beginning, I will let you know. I like to warn, right? And even when I warn guys, like it might come off as a threat, but I’m really keeping it 100. I’ll let you know,” she said.
She further explained that her approach to relationships is straightforward, even if some may consider it toxic, adding that she prefers honesty from the start so her partner knows what to expect.
According to her, she would also decide whether to remain in a relationship based on the value the partner is adding to her life. If the partner is “useful” or “empowering” her, she might tolerate the situation differently, but if not, she sees no reason to stay.
“If you’re empowering me and you are useful, and you cheat on me, no problem. Just continue playing your role… But if you cheat on me and you are not adding value to me, what am I still doing there?” she added.
She also noted that she prefers a lifestyle where comfort and financial stability matter, using a metaphor that it is better to “cry in a Lamborghini than in a tricycle,” highlighting her emphasis on financial security in relationships.
