VeryDarkMan has been re-arraigned by the police for allegedly cyberbullying actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo

The police also accused VDM of cyberbullying renowned Nigerian music producer and singer Samuel Oguachuba, better known as Samklef, among others.
VDM was re-arraigned on Thursday before Justice Musa Liman at the Federal High Court in the Federal Capital Territory on a five-count charge. He pleaded not guilty.
His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, urged the court to allow his client to continue on the bail earlier granted by Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon of a sister court. Counsel to the Inspector-General of Police, Victor Okoye, did not oppose the request, and Justice Liman upheld the previous bail conditions. The case was adjourned to July 24 for trial.
According to Daily Post, VDM was initially arraigned on May 22, 2024, before Justice Olajuwon on the same charges, which are punishable under Section 24 of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015.
On June 10, 2024, he was granted bail in the sum of N10 million, with two sureties who must be employees of reputable firms or Level 17 officers in the federal civil service, each providing proof of three years’ tax clearance.
