Funke Akindele has shared her thoughts on feminism and its intersection with marriage
In a video message, Funke emphasized that while she is a feminist, she does not condone disrespect towards husbands.
Akindele rejected the stereotype that women are the “weaker sex,” instead highlighting their strength and boldness.
She told men to treat women with respect and not limit them to traditional roles.
The actress also stressed the importance of women’s economic empowerment, encouraging them to secure financial independence to support their partners. “I believe in women’s economic power and independence,” she said.
“We should strive to have our own financial stability to support our husbands.”
