Omah Lay’s longtime manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, has officially announced the end of his working relationship with the Afrobeats star
Taking to his X account, Awoniyi wrote:
“With love and respect, I am no longer managing @Omah_Lay. That’s my brother and I wish him all the best in his endeavours for life!”
The announcement has sparked reactions online, with many fans expressing surprise. Despite the split, Awoniyi made it clear that there’s no bad blood between them, referring to Omah Lay as his “brother.”
Awoniyi, who also manages global star Tems, is known for his key role in shaping the careers of several top Nigerian artists through his management agency, BSB.
