The breakup between Yinka Theisen and Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has taken a new turn as Theisen shared details about why their relationship ended after less than a year.
In a detailed statement, Theisen explained that the separation was not due to a lack of love between them.
“It was NOT a lack of love that ended my relationship with Linc,” she said.
Instead, she pointed to what she described as Linc’s difficulty in standing up to people who criticized or attacked their relationship.
“It was his inability to stand against bullies,” she stated.
Theisen also addressed claims that Linc had tried to take advantage of her, dismissing such suggestions and insisting that was not the case.
“Please stop saying he tried to use me. He did not,” she explained, adding that many things happened privately that people may never know.
She emphasized that although the relationship has ended, she does not view him as an opportunist.
“Our relationship is over, but don’t label him an opportunist,” she added.
Reflecting on the experience, Theisen said the situation helped her gain clarity about what she wants moving forward.
According to her, she now has clear expectations for any future partner.
“I now have a list, and if that list is not met, it is a no-go for me,” she said.
She also described the relationship as part of a larger personal journey, suggesting that it ultimately helped redirect her life.
“Linc was merely a bait God used to get me to where I am today,” she said.
