Ivy Okoye has responded to an Instagram follower who questioned why she was not wearing her wedding band in a video post
The follower advised Ivy to always wear her wedding band while posting videos online, suggesting it added to a married woman’s “self worth” and made her look “complete.”
“I feel you should wear you wedding band when making videos it heads to you self worth and look complete,” the user wrote.
Reacting to the comment, Ivy fired back with a question of her own, pointing out that the same standard should apply to her husband, singer Paul Okoye.
“@dcool_autos So would you also advice him to wear his? I’m dying to know,” she replied.
Her response has since sparked conversations online, with many social media users debating expectations surrounding wedding rings and marriage.
