Actress and producer Iyabo Ojo has come to the defense of colleagues who use dance to promote their movies, following criticism from veteran actress Jaiye Kuti
Ojo believes that thinking outside the box and embracing new marketing strategies, including dancing and social media trends, is essential for generating buzz and attention for films.
In a statement, Ojo encouraged filmmakers to be adaptable and creative in their marketing approaches, suggesting that dancing and other unconventional methods can be effective in making a movie stand out.
She also promoted her own film, “Labake Olododo,” which is still showing in cinemas nationwide, inviting fans to catch her at specific showtimes.
