Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has slammed recent claims from Gistlover blog which alleged that she gave Kayatama to Fola Tinubu.
Iyabo Ojo didn’t hold back, calling the report a “lie from the pit of hell.”
Iyabo clarified her position, saying:
“First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor or ask questions about anyone’s life. Gistlover, saying I gave Fola any form of Kayatama is a lie from the pit of hell. T have never once asked or discussed anything pertaining to her relationship with her. I don’t know who she is dating and i never asked her; nothing concerns me, nor have I ever given her anything for sexual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayatama, so how will I give what I don’t have? I don’t patronise such.”
She further explained that her connection with Fola Tinubu is strictly supportive and professional:
“Fola is not my friend; she was a lady I helped who later became a goddaughter. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters; I’m a very strict and busy person. I helped her in so many ways with her business and legal battles. Now, to the glory of God, she is doing well for herself; that was my goal with her, nothing more, nothing less.”
The actress also sent a stern warning to those spreading falsehoods:
“If what you have rewritten is true about me, may God destroy me and all that I stand for. But if it’s all lies about me, may God punish whoever is sending you those lies…. The Return of Arinzo is coming soon.”
There is a stage where rumours will get to a point that you will have no choice than to voice out. Iyabo Ojo is clearly done with the rumours and just wants to set the record straight and protect her name.
The actress’s statement reassures that her intentions have always been to support Fola Tinubu’s success, not engage in scandal or gossip, stated that, she doesn’t have such time.
