Notable American rapper, Kanye West, has announced his plans to retire from professional music
He revealed this in a conversation with fellow artist Rich The Kid, who shared a screenshot of their chat on his Instagram story.
Kanye West expressed his uncertainty about his next steps after leaving music, stating “I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do.”
Rich The Kid tried to persuade Kanye to reconsider, bringing up the significant impact of their collaborative work and the importance of his presence in the music scene.
He opined that they should create and collaborate more in the studio and venture into fashion, but not exit entirely.
Rich The Kid urged Kanye West to reconsider, saying “Drop Ye about mine & V2 and we do it all over again. The kids need you, big bro. Fashion maybe some time to chill but retiring ain’t it.”
