Nigerian-American dancer Korra Obidi recently shared a frustrating experience about trying to take her children on a mother-and-child vacation.
According to her, her ex-husband, Justin Dean, is insisting that he must go along if the kids are to travel effectively blocking her from going alone.
Korra didn’t hold back in her comments, joking that her ex seems to think they’re still married. “In his small brain, he thinks we are still together,” she laughed, sharing her disbelief with fans.
Many of her followers encouraged her to just go ahead and enjoy the trip with her children. But Korra explained that she feels she has no legal choice; without Justin’s permission, she could risk serious consequences, including jail time.
This isn’t the first time Korra has publicly discussed disagreements with her ex regarding their children. Even after their divorce, disputes over custody and parental consent continue to surface, making simple family decisions surprisingly complicated.
