The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the sudden passing of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Bolaji Olugbenga, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ijanikin Police Station
CSP Olugbenga collapsed in his office on Thursday evening and was pronounced d3ad shortly after. The Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP) Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident during a press briefing on Friday night.
According to reports, CSP Olugbenga passed away before medical attention could be administered.
His colleagues at the station are deeply saddened by the news. A source within the division has confirmed that his body has been transferred to a mortuary.
The Lagos State Police Command has lost a dedicated officer, and CSP Olugbenga’s unexpected demise has sent shockwaves through the police community.
