Reality TV star and entrepreneur Leo Da Silva has slammed Nigerians for trying to dictate how people should mourn the loss of their loved ones
He wrote: “This guy makes content with his wife and his wife just d!ed leaving him with 3 kids. Nigerians are telling him to go offline to mourn. He’s telling them he needs to be online so he can feed his family. Who tf are you to tell anyone what to do after they lose their loved one?”

Reacting to this, some of his followers shared their own experiences, which Leo responded to.
One follower wrote: “A friend lost his dad. At the burial his phone rang and he picked up. I overheard some saying ‘how can you be answering calls while your dad is being buried.’ So I had to ask who called and he said it was his dad’s brother (his uncle) asking for the location of the event.” Leo responded: “Nigerians like holier than thou.”
Another follower said: “When I lost my wife 3yrs ago, people asked me to stop posting about my business online and on my status because to them it was insensitive. These were people who didn’t even contribute a kobo to her coffin nor burial.” Leo replied: “My condolences, people like to dictate where they know nothing about anything.”
