BBNaija star Neo Akpofure has shared a post on Instagram, revealing that a chance encounter with music executive Don Jazzy ten years ago profoundly changed his life
Neo won an MTV Base trivia competition called “A Day with Don Jazzy” after answering questions about the music mogul with just N60.
Although he missed the opportunity to travel to South Africa for an award show due to university exams, Neo’s meeting with Don Jazzy in Lagos and the subsequent N500,000 compensation turned out to be a turning point. “That single encounter changed my life,” Neo wrote. “It made me believe that I could truly be whoever I wanted to be. It reignited a fire in me that no circumstance could put out.”
Neo reflected on the experience, saying, “Destiny may know my name, but grace has never failed to find me in moments of doubt and uncertainty.”
He expressed deep gratitude to Don Jazzy for the opportunity and to God for fulfilling every promise made to him. “I am a living testimony that when grace speaks, destiny listens,” Neo added.
Don Jazzy responded warmly to Neo’s post, saying, Bro GOD got you. You are destined for greatness. Everybody I know that knows you always has amazing things to say about you. Makes me happy and I’m proud to have a line or 2 in your book. More blessings ahead”.
